Research and Planning: Audience Responces

Target Audience

My target audience is therefore college students aged 16-18 however there maybe some older students. They are both male and female and students, so anything to do with saving money would be a good idea as students are strapped for cash, there are many different classes in college however most people come from a working class background or middle class. Students are interested in finding things to do outside of college at the weekend, they will also be interestcd in going to university so any information about University they would find useful. Students will want to know about people who are the same age and at college also or who have just finnished college so they can relate to them and their struggle in learning at college


Before we began designing our magazine we decided to do some research into our target audience
We asked them 6 Questions these questions were

• What would you associate with college?
• What stories do you want to read about?
• How much are you willing to pay?
• What colour scheme would suit the magazine?
• Why would you buy a college magazine?
• What kind of layout would look best?

 

We recorded our interviews so that we could refer back to them in the future and take the awnsers into consideration when creating our magazine
